   Medical Camps

Project Brief | Desired Range of Services | Future Needs | Pictures | Video

At 30 years Lakshmi amma looks aged beyond her years. She and her husband work as manual laborers at a construction site, each earning Rs.100 per day. The hard work that they do under the hot sun day in and day out while feeding and taking care of their 4 children leaves them in bad health most of the time. With barely any money to feed themselves, doctor visits, checkups and medicines are beyond their reach. This is the story of many such Lakshmi amma's coming from families living below the poverty level.
