Mission :

Rising to the situation, whenever needed to empathize with, assist and enable victims of natural calamities to rebuild their shattered lives and uplift them to a better status than before.

We aim to put together an effective Disaster Management Plan to be implemented in times of crisis. We will mobilize both financial and human resources to implement the plan. We will also adopt innovative means in helping the affected persons to rebuild their lives through low cost housing, etc

The disaster relief cell will be deployed to assist people affected by natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, cyclones and drought in any part of the world.

Short Term Relief: 

1. Immediate assistance will be provided in terms of food, clothing, blankets, medicines for communicable diseases, water purifying substances etc

2. Counseling to help in dealing with the circumstances and provide comfort

Long Term Relief:

a) Technical know-how and assistance in building durable, low-cost houses.

b) Rebuilding community infrastructure such as schools, temples etc

c) Empowering women through small scale income generation programs to reclaim their economic status.

A core team of dedicated volunteers, mainly youth, from the fields of health, education, engineers will be trained in disaster relief work. Whenever the situation demands such a team will immediately be dispatched to the affected zones to start work. A corpus fund will be formed to support the disaster relief work. An effective networking system will be put in place to coordinate with the government and other agencies.
